THINK SPRING!
Native to Europe and Asia, Comfrey has been used in folk medicine dating back to Roman times.
The plant has dark green stalks and leaves that have many hairs. The flowers are pink to purple and bell-shaped that bloom from the spring into the summer, and attract many pollinators.
Comfrey is said to contain important constituents that help speed up the healing process of bruises, pulled ligaments, strains and muscles. It also can help reduce inflammation.
Precautions: Do not use comfrey if you are pregnant. If you have health issues and want to take internally consult a practitioner

We like to use dried Comfrey infused in oil for making salves for healing injuries. And we also love to make it into tinctures for internal and external use
All of our dried herbs are locally grown in Jamesport, NY at our certified organic farm. We start each herb from seed or root cutting on farm, hand tend it until peak potency, then mindfully harvest. Next, each herb is small batch dried, processed, and bagged for sale.
