Lemongrass, organic
Lemon Grass is an annual, part of the Poaceae family. It forms a tall grassy clump that reaches 3-5 feet tall that has a light lemony aroma. It is sometimes referred to as "Fever Grass", and is native to Indonesia, Indochina, and tropical parts of Australia. It is used in Southeast Asia and India as a culinary herb.
This herb is known to be taken as a tea to help soothe nervous stomachs, ease tension and calm the mind down after a stressful day. The oil of Lemongrass is also known to hold antibacterial properties.

How We Use
We love to use dried lemongrass in relaxation tea blends. It is also a great herb to use in cooking or baking fresh or dried.
All of our dried herbs are locally grown in Jamesport, NY at our certified organic farm. We start each herb from seed or root cutting on farm, hand tend it until peak potency, then mindfully harvest. Next, each herb is small batch dried, processed, and bagged for sale.
