Motherwort Leaf, organic
Motherwort is a herbaceous perennial native to Central Asia and Southeast Europe- now naturalized around the world. The plant has dull green hairy leaves, can grow up to three feet and has white flowers with spikes surrounding the blooms. The botanical name Leonurus , refers to a fanciful resemblance of the leaves of the plant to a lion's tail.
This herb is known to help with symptoms of menopause as well as menstruation. It is also known to be used for heart conditions like high blood pressure and can help ease stress and anxiety. It is also high in antioxidants and ursolic acid, which may be linked to potential heart health benefits, and to help reduce inflammation
