THINK SPRING!
Mugwort is a perennial plant that is part of the Asteraecea
family. It has angular purple stalks,
bears dark green leaves and can grow up to more than three feet tall. It's most commonly found growing along creek s
ides, riverbanks. The plant gets its name from the Greek goddess Artemis.
This herb has been used for millennia, and traditionally it
was used to flavor certain beverages and food. Mugwort is most commonly associated with sleep and dreaming. Many people brew it as a tea to drink before bed, burn it as an incense or incorporate it into little dream pillows to help fall asleep and to have pleasant...or interesting dreams. It is also a great remedy for digestive discomfort and issues, irregular menstruation and could also be used as a mild sedative. Externally mugwort can be used to treat irritated skin, rashes and even scars.
Precautions: Not for use in pregnancy except under the supervision of a qualified healthcare practitioner
