Scented Geranuim Leaf, organic
Scented Geranium is a perennial shrub that can grow up to three feet tall. Its leaves are jagged and pointed. The plant has an aromatic rosy scent, although when the plant flowers it can also have a minty scent. Its flowers are small and white and can be pink as well.
Sweet scented geranium has been cultivated since the mid 19th century. In folk medicine geranium oil was used to relieve spasms, aid as a pain reliever as well as a sedative. Today people still use the oil for its pain relieving properties, whether inhaled, taken orally or applied topically. Externally this herb is known to calm down harsh skin conditions such as eczema, acne, cuts burns and bruises.

How We Use
We like to incorporate dried Scented Geranium in herbal sachets or potpourris!
All of our dried herbs are locally grown in Jamesport, NY at our certified organic farm. We start each herb from seed or root cutting on farm, hand tend it until peak potency, then mindfully harvest. Next, each herb is small batch dried, processed, and bagged for sale.
