Boneset Leaf & Flower, organic
Native to the eastern half of North America, Boneset is a perennial in the Asteraceae family. It has daisy-like features that can grow up to 4 feet tall. The plant has hairy stems and white flower heads that bloom in throughout the summer.
Boneset is an astringent and bitter herb. It is traditionally used to help with flus and colds- it is said to hold antiviral and antioxidant properties. It is also said to be helpful with lowering fevers. And since it is a bitter it is beneficial for overall digestive and gut health.
*Use with caution during pregnancy. Long term use is not recommended

How We Use
We like to use Boneset as a dried herb in our tea blends especially for colds, flus, and stomach aches and nausea
All of our dried herbs are locally grown in Jamesport, NY at our certified organic farm. We start each herb from seed or root cutting on farm, hand tend it until peak potency, then mindfully harvest. Next, each herb is small batch dried, processed, and bagged for sale.
