Sambuccus or Elder, is a perennial shrub that can grow up to 12 feet tall. It is native to Europe, North America and Southwest Asia. Elder leaves have been known to help with aches and pains, and help prevent relaxation for sore muscles when applied topically.
**Not recommended for internal use due to their content of toxic cyanogenic glycosides**

How We Use
We like to use dried Elder Leaves in infused oils to make salves for muscle and pain relief!
All of our dried herbs are locally grown in Jamesport, NY at our certified organic farm. We start each herb from seed or root cutting on farm, hand tend it until peak potency, then mindfully harvest. Next, each herb is small batch dried, processed, and bagged for sale.
