Lemon Balm Leaf, organic
A lemon scented perennial that is part of the Lamiaceae family and native to the Mediterranean. This plant has serrated, heart-shaped leaves and whorls of blue, yellow, or white flowers. It has been used for centuries for it's beneficial properties, and is highly esteemed for it's emotional and spiritual effects.
Lemon Balm is said to be great for colds, flus and even digestive discomfort. It's known to help ease nervousness and sadness and can promote a restful night sleep. This herb also is sometimes used locally as an antiviral for cold sores and even shingles

How We Use
We like to use dried Lemon balm in tea blends to help promote relaxation. It's also a great herb to tincture fresh or dried!
All of our dried herbs are locally grown in Jamesport, NY at our certified organic farm. We start each herb from seed or root cutting on farm, hand tend it until peak potency, then mindfully harvest. Next, each herb is small batch dried, processed, and bagged for sale.
